Quality Management Generalist

Northern Rivers Family of Services is looking for a Quality Management Generalist to join our team! This position is responsible for performing highly confidential and sensitive Quality Management tasks including but not limited to investigations into alleged incidents of client abuse and neglect, known or suspected occurrences of non-compliance, and potential breaches of protected information.
In addition, this employee supports the Quality Management department in a variety of tasks, including program and administrative audit, licensing and accrediting reviews, and data collection and reporting, as assigned.
This position is a great opportunity to learn more, get your feet wet and learn more about all things risk management, auditing and investigations. Quality Management is a small but supportive team that works collaboratively with other departments and programs throughout the agency, so mentoring this position is very important and we encourage continuing education and certification.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct internal investigations into alleged matters of abuse and neglect, compliance, and privacy.
• Communicate with program leaders and external regulators as necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Assist in workflow and protocol development based on regulation, statute, contract condition or other governing rules.
• Conduct programmatic or administrative audits as assigned.
• Participate in external audit processes as well as duties related to agency accrediting activities
• Create and maintain spreadsheets to progress town completing assigned tasks and for tracking and trending relevant data.
• Attention to detail is crucial in this position, as is being comfortable with large amounts of data for investigations and reporting.
• After training period, position transitions to hybrid role.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience OR Associate’s degree with 4 years of experience.
