Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Report quality problems or findings to Quality Manager
  • Maintain record of inspections and issue non-conformities
  • Organize and ensure accurate and reliable filing systems for all paper-based GMP documents
  • Interacting with other departments to ensure compliance with specification and to facilitate the acceptance of parts
  • Maintain quality standards by approving in-coming, in-process and finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production supervisor/manager
  • Accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Documenting inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, inputting data into quality database

SALARY INFORMATION
In compliance with CA state law, the hourly range for this position is $16-20 per hour. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Carlisle Interconnect Technologies reviews factors such as but not limited to responsibilities of the position, scope of work, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal pay equity, as well as market considerations when extending an offer.

Education/Experience:
Desired AS or AA, or equivalent experience.
Training / Performance Requirements:
A minimum of three years’ experience in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, or equivalent.
Certificates and Licenses:
Quality Inspector certification is desirable.
Language Ability:
Ability to speak, read and write in English; secondary language skill is desirable but not required.
Required Skills, Training, and Experience to Perform the Essential Functions:

  • Testing or Inspection and Measurement experience is a pre-requisite for this position
  • Be able to manage Instruments Calibration
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, basic Math and Geometry/Trigonometry, Working Knowledge of GD&T
  • Be able to perform complete layout inspection by measuring dimensions, such as length, height, and distance, between reference points, using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicator, and CMM (such as Helmel, Seebrez, Zeiss, LK) to ensure products meet specifications
  • Be able to assists in Developing Inspection Methods
  • Initiate NCMR’s
  • Adequate Knowledge of Quality Management System and its application
  • Collecting and reporting Data to Quality Manager
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Flexibility based on plant production schedules
  • Well-organized and detailed oriented with strong verbal and written skills

Computer Skills:

  • Good computer skills with working knowledge of MS office such as Word, Excel, Access, Adobe Professional
  • Preferred knowledge of Made-2-Manage, UniPoint

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
