The Quality Inspector is to provide support for the Inspection process and Calibration system. In addition, the Quality
Inspector is to support, and facilitate, the day-to-day activities of the manufacturing process, and the Quality Management System (QMS).
Key Responsibilities
▪ High levels of attention to detail
▪ Use of common and uncommon nonautomated inspection tooling such as calipers, micrometers, tram gage,
Cadillac gage, thread gages, pins, etc.
▪ Frequent use of microscopes.
▪ Promote and advocate quality performance and improvement across the organization.
▪ Conduct first article, first piece, in process, and final inspection on machined parts and assemblies.
▪ Perform thorough and detailed failure analysis on returned product and create reports as needed.
▪ Complete calibration of monitoring and measuring equipment.
▪ Performing/supporting day-to-day activities of the manufacturing, and quality assurance functions.
▪ Inspection in a machine shop environment.
▪ Use of contact and contactless automated measurement equipment such as CMM or Keyence measurement
machines.
▪ Identifies, dispositions, and analyses nonconforming material for cause.
▪ Able to pivot to meet the shifting needs of a manufacturing environment.
▪ Processing transactions within an ERP system to ensure proper inventory control and inspection tracking.
▪ Other duties as assigned.

Critical Competencies for Success
▪ High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
▪ Three years’ experience as a Quality Control Inspector required. (Mechanical inspection preferred)
▪ Excellent verbal and written skills in the English language required.
▪ Understanding of ISO, GMP, GD&T, and/or military quality systems required.
▪ Experience in a machine shop environment preferred.
▪ Blueprint reading skills required. (advanced blueprint reading skills preferred)
▪ Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products as well as various quality engineering software products.
▪ ASQ certification preferred. (i.e. CQI, CQT, etc.)
▪ ERP system experience. (IQMS Experience preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
