Summary Audit finished products and supplied piece parts for conformance to documented specifications. Checks orders, performs special testing and provides special customer required documentation. Assist customer source inspectors and suppliers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Inspect product at audit and/or incoming. Using hand gages, vision system and other equipment for piece part inspection, validate that the parts/lots meet the engineering requirements.
• Prepare and review query for information that contributes to inspection requirements.
• Enter the completed record of inspection into the audit electronic database (QAS).
• Audit, approve and forward incoming parts to Stockroom.
• Notify Quality Control Administrator of SCARs initiated through MRB for defective purchased parts.
• Select sample purchased parts from Stockroom and inspect, as necessary.
• Calibration of custom gauges, micrometers, calipers, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
