This role will be responsible for managing the Quality Engineering department, including employee recruitment, selection and training; performance reviews and career development; engineering work assignments including quoting, capacity, manpower and schedule considerations; attendance and labor approval; incentives; rewards and disciplinary; budget control and capital planning; and various other aspects in support of the Quality departments. Quality Program Management responsibilities such as internal and external IPT meetings, Program Corrective Action Boards, quality metrics, and non-conformance resolution may also be in the scope of this position. Additional responsibilities will include Corrective Action Coordinator for Corrective Action Requests (CARs), Quality Assessments for procedure and work instruction compliance, process evaluation/validation and hardware verification and identify and implement Mistake Proofing and Quality Digital Transformation (DX) initiatives. Candidate must be able to lead team to ensure that site Operations meets all ISO 9001/AS9100 and other Customer requirements.

The Locale: Archbald is located in Northeastern Pennsylvania and is part of Lackawanna County in the Blue Ridge Mountain range. The entire region is about 100 miles from both New York City and Philadelphia. Archbald is a suburb of Scranton, PA. The Pocono Mountains and Lake Wallenpaupack are nearby.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or Associate's degree with equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of related professional experience.
Experience with SAP/Apriso.
Experience with root cause analysis and evaluations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working successfully in a team environment.
Must be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance, therefore, must be a US Citizen..
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with at least 5 years of related professional experience.

Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001 and NQA-1/10CFR50 Appendix B and/or auditing experience with these standards.
Experience in Quality, Engineering or Production Operations.
Experience with MRB and dispositioning of nonconformances.
Experience writing technical reports.
Experience interfacing and interacting with DCMA.
Certified Green Belt or experience with lean manufacturing and failure analysis.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
