Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking Quality Control Operators to hire immediately at a food grade warehouse located in Villa Rica! The ideal candidate should be dependable, have reliable transportation, and available to work full time, 12 hour shifts, and occasional weekends/extra hours as necessary.

Pay Rate: $15.00/hour

Requirements for Quality Control Operators:
After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Help in sampling of special cases for proper determination of defect and the disposition.
• 1 year experience in quality assurance and laboratory environment preferable.
• Excellent written, laboratory, and communication skills required.
• Able to use scientific calculator.
• Able to wear all required safety equipment.
• Must be computer proficient i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and will to learn ERP and QAD.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities of Quality Control Operators:

• Assist QA Manager where necessary in research and development.
• Work in an industrial environment and handle non toxic food products.
• Reads and accurately interprets daily production samples.
• Calibrates and operates all testing equipment.
• Conducts salt, moisture, spice analysis, inspects and analyzes incoming raw materials, in process blends and finish product produced.
• Sends monthly target sample to customer as requested.
• Verifies all packaging attributes.
• Conducts pre-operational swabbing for all equipment.
• Maintains all quality assurance files and retains samples.
• Must keep work area clean at all times.
• Works effectively with workers in a constructive and positive manner.
• Receive, sample, review material receiving paperwork, and compare to specification.
• Fill out lab material submittal form, submit to lab, and prepare samples for submittal.
• Review material testing results and release product with acceptable results.
• Perform physical, analytical and sensory evaluation of materials.
• Calibrate scales and lab equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Shift Details: 2nd Shift Available!

• 2nd: Monday-Friday – 3:00PM-3:30AM (occasional Saturdays are required)
