Phoenix Manufacturing, Inc. engineers and manufactures a broad portfolio of machined aerospace components. Phoenix partners with key manufacturers to produce critical flight safety components; we help maintain a competitive and technological advantage. We provide lean processes for machining of Customer-designed components producing complex geometries at very close tolerances meeting the Customer’s specifications.

Based in Enfield, CT, Phoenix employs approximately 85 personnel. The Company’s key services include machine processing, CAD, CAM, CMM and development TPO to manufacture highly engineered mechanical actuation and safety components for fixed and rotary wing commercial and military aircraft.

We are seeking an accomplished experienced 1st Piece and Final Quality Control Inspectors to ensure that our products are meeting and exceeding customers expectations of 100% Quality and 100% OTD. Our requirement is that this candidate gets it, wants it, and can do it!

Requirements:

  • Capable of using all inspection equipment including Mitutoyo CMM
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading
  • First Article Inspection experience a plus
  • Prior DQR approval or equivalent a plus
  • Experience working in AS9100 and ISO environment
  • Ensure that standard procedures are followed in all aspects of work
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
