SES Group of Companies, LLC (SGC) is growing! We are seeking a talented Quality Control Manager (QCM) to join the Herman Construction Group, Inc. (HCG) team; a subsidiary of SGC. This critical role manages and implements the QC Program and ensures fulfillment of the Contractor’s LEED Coordinator duties. The ideal candidate will be ready to jump in, prepared to lead QC meetings, manage daily compliance reports, and manage the submittal register. This position will be located in San Diego and the candidate must be willing to travel for upcoming projects. Responsibilities
- Maintain current records of quality control operations, activities, and tests performed, including the work of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Coordinate with and support the Government’s Commissioning Authority
- Attend the partnering meetings, QC plan meetings, and coordination and Mutual Understanding meetings.
- Perform submittal review.
- Ensure testing is performed and provide QC certifications and documentation required by the Contract
- Manage and coordinate the three phases of control and documentation performed by testing laboratory personnel and any other inspection and testing personnel required by the Contract Implement and enforce strict QC policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and USACE EM385-1-1 regulations
- Maintain record drawings and specifications Identify, record, track and monitor completion of re-work items
- 5 years of experience with projects of similar size and magnitude (16.8M).
- Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors Certificate OSHA 30 Safety Card First Aid/ CPR Training.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field is preferred.
