Nanogate - A Techniplas Company, is currently seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Quality Control Engineer. Techniplas develops creativity, creates customer value, and is a producer of high-performance, plastic components for the automotive and consumer good industries. Education and Experience Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, design engineering, or industrial
engineering required AND;

· 3-5 years experience in quality control automotive manufacturing required AND;

· 1 year experience Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Quality Management Systems
(QMS) required

· Must possess demonstrated analytical capability; ability to work independently and as
part of a team; excellent oral and electronic communication; ability to read, write, and
speak English; ability to read and interpret blueprints, intermediate level for enterprise
resource planning software, and use of basic hand tools experience is required.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

· Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) in accordance with internal requirements
and customer requirements, regularly track and facilitate steps for completion of
operations items before the start of production.

· Ensures adherence and drives improvements to the Quality Management System
(QMS).

· Escalate if Operations APQP deliverables are at risk due to delayed steps or from
inadequate input from other functions.

· Lead APQP launch and quality audit processes for new projects, responsible for audit
gaps analysis a closure prior to production.

· Leads Engineering to Production change processes and supports change management
activities.

· Leads team with developing reviews for Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA),
Control Plans, and Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP), and building work
instructions, and visual aids for production use.

· Mentors and trains Associate Quality Technicians and Customer Service
Representatives.

· Resolves product and process quality related issues using problem solving tools and
helps solve variations in processes.

· Responds and interacts with customer on complaints and other customer quality
related activities.

· Follow standard operating procedures to ensure proper quality of work and efficiency.

· Travel is on occasion or 10%, mostly same day travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
