Position: Coatings Field Analyst II

Location: Austin, TX, 78725

Duration: 12 months contract

Pay Rate: $28.00/hr.

Shifts: 6.00 am to 3.00 pm

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• The Contractor supports the BASF sales/technical team by tracking and analyzing various product data.
• Duties include data entry, logging, charting, and analyzing product and process characteristics and problem resolution.
• Daily use of Excel and other PC applications. Will also handle inventory ordering/management.
• By capturing various coatings product analyses, the contractor can easily monitor key performance indicators to ensure that BASF meets or exceeds customer performance expectations.
• High school diploma required. Experience working in a manufacturing, lab, or automotive environment (at least 1-2 years). Team members must have good interpersonal skills, solid proficiency with basic IT tools (e.g., MS Office).
• Team members must be available to work rotating shifts, weekends (when necessary) and be physically capable of working on their feet for extensive periods.
• Paint application knowledge, paint defect recognition, basic analysis skills. Understanding of quality systems and concepts a plus. SAP expertise a plus.
