Job description
The Quality Assurance Technician forms part of an analytical and test bake QC team, ensuring that all production batches comply with BreadPartners specifications. Also will assist the QA Manager in maintaining SQF policies and procedures for the company.
Major Duties:
· Responsible for the standardizing and maintaining the various machines and equipment in the lab.
· Responsible for ensuring all QC titrations performed on finished production batches are done accurately and on time.
· Maintain organized filing systems and maintain testing log.
· Perform a minimum of one random weight checks during production daily
· Conduct daily pH tests.
· Approve and release lots of finished goods using MRP system throughout the day.
· Maintain inventory for Lab materials per policy.
· Organize shipment of raw materials, finished products and environmental swabs to outside laboratories per policy.
· Randomly check compliance to metal detector policy on each line daily.
· Perform allergen swab testing on equipment as necessary
