The responsibilities of this position include:

As part of the team responsible for ensuring optimal product quality, you will use IPC Industry Standards to verify electronic assemblies through in-process visual inspection. You will provide operators with real-time feedback and document any discrepancies.

**We have positions available for both 1st and 2nd shift**

Your duties include:

• Meeting the IPC requirements for the position
• Ensuring quality at the production line level by using spot-inspection, sampling, and 1st-piece verification and 100% inspection as needed
• Spending long periods of time using a microscope
• Verifying compliance of in-process material against customer and industry standards
• Maintaining accurate and complete documentation
• Reporting systemic issues to Quality and Manufacturing Engineering
• Supporting first-piece verification runs with appropriate documentation
• Documenting non-conformities to the process and specifications
• Conducting regular quality line-audits to ensure all documentation, consumables, and tooling are up-to-date
• Adhering to ESD, PPE, and FOD prevention measures
• Operating inspection equipment such as AOI and XRAY

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience working in a fast-paced team environment
• Familiarity with IPC Industry Standards
• A high-school diploma
• The willingness to cross-train in multiple Quality areas

Other qualities that would contribute to success in this role:

• Strong documentation skills
• Computer literacy
• Experience working in an electronics/SMT manufacturing facility
• Industry-relevant quality inspection or control experience
