Duties and Responsibilities The following reflects essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. It is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as the company may deem necessary.

• Trains and mentors’ inspectors on team
• Answers questions when needed Submit daily and weekly inspections reports
• Arrange jobs and personnel according to needs
• Monitors and confirms that hot jobs get done
• Submit Non-Conformance reports for goods failing inspection

Assist the engineers with any questions on new products

• Inspects components to determine if they are conforming to specifications
• Perform basic statistical studies as needed
• Interpret detailed blueprints, work orders and engineering specs
• Calibrate and perform additional daily studies on gauges
• Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems and assist in identifying them
• Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products
• Record inspection data using established programs and software
• Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures
• Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
• Complete any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
• Responsible for creating list of items needed for inspection each day
• Process NCMR’s written for line rejects or written by the incoming inspectors
• Flex between inspection department when needed Supervisory

Responsibilities Leads a team of inspectors in the quality lab. Education and Experience A high school graduate or GED 5+ years’ experience in mechanical inspection and manufacturing environment Ability to follow inspection processes and plans Experience with quality control equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, surface, comparator, roughness gauges, etc. Experience with advanced quality control equipment such as: Hommel, Keyence, Spring tester, Hardness tester preferred Experience using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Optical comparator or other complex inspection systems Proficient with MS Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $22.50 - $25.00 per hour
