JOB TITLE:

QE Specialist

Lifespire is currently seeking a FT QE Specialist to work hands on with the IDD (intellectual develomental disabled) community.

DEPARTMENT:

Quality Enhancement

CLASSIFICATION:

Non-union, Full-Time position.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education or a related human service field and at least two years of specialized training and/or experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Computer skills - Excel, MS Word

SUMMARY:

Provide agency-wide collection and monitoring of service data including daily notes, transportation data, monthly reviews and person centered plans. Assure that services correlate to consumer needs and interest. Implementation of various Quality Enhancement functions.

REPORTS TO:

Quality Enhancement Coordinator

V.P. for Quality Management

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Function A: Review samples of consumer records to assure verification of billing.

Function B: Maintain systems to assure consumer records and services are in compliance with federal, state and agency regulations.

Function C: Identify problems, issues and concerns and assist with the determination of

appropriate solutions.

Function D: Comply with all agency standards, rules, practices, policies and procedures.

Function E: Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

Requires moderate physical effort on a regular basis, as in frequent traveling, standing, walking, bending, sitting, stooping and/or occasional lifting.

Working Conditions:

Varied sites and programs throughout the five boroughs. Flexibility to work evenings and weekend required. Mostly Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

Salary: $26,240 annually non negotiable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26,260.00 per year
