Job Summary

Support the Project Quality Manager in the planning and implementation of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) activities within the assigned Offshore Projects. Plan and Implement Project Quality Assurance activities within assigned Offshore Projects. When the Project Quality Manager is not defined (or is out of the office) Coordinate the Project Quality activities implementation.

Job Description

  • Provide the necessary support to the Project Quality Manager (PQM) regarding quality contractual issues both during tender and project execution phase.
  • Support the PQMin the development I implementation of the Project Quality Management.
  • System (PQMS) activities. Ensure that the integrity of the Company OMS is maintained when changes are made to the Project Quality System.
  • Ensure that the correct implementation of the Project OMS is checked and monitored through the planning I execution of Project Quality Audits.
  • Ensure that the correct implementation of planned Quality Audits, taking in account all project processes, including the issue of relevant Audit Reports.
  • Ensure, within the project organization, the planning of activities aimed at promoting the applicable Contractual Quality Requirements.
  • Conduct Project external QMS Audits covering client Offshore Vessels, client Fabrication Yards, Third-Party Fabrication Yards, Vendors and Subcontractors sites.
  • Plan and support the allocation of Quality Resources to the various area of the project managing them in liaison with involved Quality Functions.
  • Support the Project in relations with the Client and with the Authorities responsible for quality matters.
  • Participates to Project Management meetings, to ensure coordination between Quality activities and Project Management Activities.
  • Ensure the preparations and issue of QC specifications for the works, coordinating and agreeing with the checks by the Technical Department and Client.
  • Support the management of nonconformities.
  • Promote appropriate actions to prevent or eliminate potential non-conformities and their root causes. Ensure the management of Cost of Non-Quality process.
  • Ensure knowledge and awareness of Quality Requirements within the Project Team, also, performing Quality Training Activities.
  • Collect and analyze project quality data to organize and lead the Project Quality Management Review.
  • Support the Management of Lessons Learned / REX processes.
  • Support the implementation of the Customer Satisfaction process.
  • Working knowledge of Welding Processes
  • Working knowledge of NDE Processes
  • Working knowledge of Coating (Nace) Processes

Skills Required

  • Must have knowledge of quality, engineering, and oil and gas terminology.
  • Must be have knowledge of quality, engineering, and oil and gas terminology
  • Must have excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be comfortable speaking in public forums.
  • Must be computer literate. Must be able to independently use personal computing applications, e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, Internet, MS PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook. FORM
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis.
  • Must have a working knowledge of the Management of Change Process.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid US Passport, Travel Visa(s), and other required Travel Documentation to cover International Work Assignments.
  • Must be knowledgeable in Calibration Best Practices related to QC Inspection Equipment.
  • Must have a current ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor’s Certificate or be able to obtain a ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor’s Certificate within the first six (6) months of employment.
  • Working Conditions:
  • Must have flexibility in working hours to assigned responsibilities.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to touch, feel, manipulate, reach with hands and arms. Must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 15 lbs. and occasionally may be required to lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Five 5 (Plus) years of quality experience with a demonstrable track record in Project Quality Management in the Offshore Industry.
  • Experience in the development of Offshore Installation ITPs.
  • Experience in the development of Project Quality Plans.
  • Experience in the development of Quality Control Inspection Plans.
  • Must have working knowledge of QC Inspection Equipment Calibration Practices.
  • Ensure that the correct implementation of planned Quality Audits, taking in account all project processes, including the issue of relevant audit reports.
  • Microsoft applications

Education/Training/Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree / five (5) - Eight (8) years of Project Quality experience as a Project Quality Engineer in the Offshore Industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $100,000.00 - $126,000.00 per year
