Job description
Help us build our testing (QA/QC) infrastructure, automate end-to-end testing (regression tests, unit tests, etc), and build a team of testers.
Five years of full time professional testing experience is required, as well as expertise in building test plans and orchesting testing at scale. We prefer candidates with management experience.
Example Responsibilities
- Develop testing strategy including functional testing, smoke and regression suites, automation, security, and accessibility testing.
- Gather and analyze requirements from business teams and stakeholders to determine QA needs for all application change requests.
- Communicate functionality defects, data inconsistency, and user experience improvements to product and engineering teams, primarily in the form of issues
- Collaborate on testing feedback and analyze potential gaps in test coverage
- Develop and execute test plans working in an Agile environment.
- Collaborate with product management and other cross-functional teams to balance priorities, risk, and schedules.
- Generate and maintain test data.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a QA role for B2B Saas company.
- Prior experience building and executing test plans on a complex software product within an Agile environment (manual testing required, automated preferred)
- Proven experience identifying, replicating, and communicating bugs to appropriate team, and collaborating on a resolution plan
- Skilled at working with product managers, developers, and other internal teams to refine requirements as needed
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with engineering tools like Asana, Git, AWS
- Experience with automated testing tools like Cucumber/Java/Selenium/Cypress/Jmeter/APIs
Compensation
- Salary: $60,000 - $100,000
- Bonus: 0-20%
- Equity: 5,000 - 25,000 shares
