Job Description:PDQ Staffing is in search of a Purchasing Agent for a yearbook manufacturing company. Candidate must be reliable, have work experience that correlates to a purchasing agent
Pay Rate:
- $26-28
- Full Time
- Available Shifts -7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30p
- Monday – Friday

Develop sources of supply and obtain information from suppliers concerning product and services, price and delivery.

Negotiation is a must to identify opportunities to reduce costs and time to market
*
Solicit quotes, conduct bid evaluations, evaluate cost, negotiates to ensure the best combination inclusive of terms and conditions
*
Prepare definitive purchase orders, including terms and conditions
*
Resolve problems related to purchasing, delivery, receiving and payment to supplier with month end reporting and while adhering to all SOX requirements.
*
Establish ordering guidelines and delivery SOP's
*
Maintain records of purchases, contracts, inventory and quality issues.
*
Maintain detailed, intricate spreadsheets with complete and accurate up to date information on all projects
*
Work with internal and external customers/supplies on a daily basis to coordinate each project and troubleshoot as necessary
