Job Description*

This position is to buy and/or receive all the equipment, parts, raw material, and consumables for the facility

Requirements:*

• HS Diploma
• Proactive, Meticulous, and Autonomous
• Experience in manufacturing
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable with routine
• Great team spirit
• Flexible
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Being bilingual is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating new vendors in our system
• Creating new codes in the system
• Understanding of all the miscellaneous codes to be associated with the proper “General Ledger Accounting Codes”
• Establishing a list of items per vendor for easier consultation, control, and requests
• Work closely with the supervisor of each department to provide what is needed
• Creating purchase orders in the system
• Sending purchase orders to vendors and communicating our delivery sequence and priorities as needed
• Perform a vendor follow-up if an order or delivery confirmation is not received
• Validation of items received by you (including quality and quantity)
• Generating receptions in the system
• Provide matched proof of item(s) reception with the IML purchase order to the accounting department and respond to their questions
• Communicate discrepancies between invoice and IML purchase order with the vendor
• Facilitate returns or follow-up with delivery shortages with vendors
