Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking cleaner to join our team at a retro motel located in Stonewall, Texas. As a Retro Motel associate, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests' rooms and common areas are clean, sanitized, and assisting with front desk coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, such as changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms
• Clean and maintain common areas, including the lobby, and outdoor spaces
• Wash, dry, and fold laundry from guest rooms.
• Stock and maintain supplies in guest rooms and common areas, such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products
• Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure consistent quality and safety
• Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns
• Assist with helping guests make reservations and check-in.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate supervisor
• Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or hospitality preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
