PSYCHIATRIST AND ENTREPRENUER

Income Range: $225K - $475k

Large expanding Out-of Network Private Practice seeking Child or Adult Psychiatrist to join ISLAND PSYCHIATRY PC located at two locations on New York's Long Island(Melville/ Port Jefferson area)

This is a unique opportunity for a board certified and growth- minded physician who values freedom and the opportunities inherent in professional collaboration to join our rapidly expanding group to provide outstanding psychiatric care. ISLAND PSYCHIATRY has grown and flourished as an out-of-network provider.We believe in-network insurance companies are a major factor in driving down the quality of healthcare in general and mental healthcare in particular. The relationship between a clinician and patient is sacrosanct. Insurance companies should not interfere with this all important relationship with controlling contracts, denial of care and fee structures which encourage short session duration and superficial care.

ISLAND PSYCHIATRY and it's affiliated management company, Island Practice Management LLC, have several engagement model options including a path to ownership.

Work with a Multi-disciplinary team (MDs, PhD's, PMHNPs, LCSWRs, LMHCs, multilevel leadership and administrators) who are all driven to reduce patient suffering in more effective ways.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $225,000.00 - $475,000.00 per year
