What is Mobile Medical?
Mobile Medical is full-service in-home primary care to the home-bound/home-limited patient population, focusing on total patient care.
What does a Mobile Medical Psych Certified Nurse Practitioner do?
A Mobile Medical Nurse Practitioner provides medical house calls for a variety of tasks. Some tasks include:
Examine patients and their medical records- Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, etc.)
- Diagnose health conditions and illnesses
- Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases
- Prescribe medications
- Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics, and prevention
What are the qualifications for a Mobile Medical Psych Certified Nurse Practitioner?
- Master's Degree level Adult, Geriatric Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role
- Psychiatric Certification
What skills are required to be a Mobile Medical Nurse Practitioner?
We are a specialized group of advanced practicing nurses treating patients in their homes. Proven skills are required for the effective administering of evidence-based care. Some of those skills include:
Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER, or other settings- Expertise in primary care, acute care, and chronic care practices
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Excellent communication skills
What shifts are available?
Patient visits take place Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to create your schedule. This provides the opportunity for a more consistent work/life balance.
