Job Description Summary

Position Description:
This position serves as an integral member of the Provider Compensation team. This position will support the day to day contracting activities for a given territory and is responsible for financial negotiations and retention of our dental contracted providers. This position will manage, evaluate, and/or negotiate provider contracts and fee schedules for contracted providers and group practices ensuring a smooth operation and administration of provider agreements within an assigned budget. This position will work with internal partners to support state specific regulations and maintain provider profiling system and communicate verbally and in writing with providers regarding contractual inquires. Support state specific regulations/requirements (attending meetings, audits, compliance activities). Work is subject to frequent review by more experienced professionals in Provider Contracting

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Self-starter and very organized
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely.
Strong interpersonal skills, establishing rapport and working well with others.
Strong customer service skills
Computer proficiency, willing to learn new systems
Ability to work in a goal orientated environment
Ability to meet high standards for attendance
Other projects and duties as assigned
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Ability to work in Microsoft Excel and to learn specialized databases/systems quickly
Strong skill set required in the following areas: analytical, negotiations, financials, presentation skills, written and oral communication skills
Ability to successfully develop relationships

Desired Qualifications:
Previous Outbound or Inbound Call Center.
Knowledge of Dental PPO
Prior experience working in a dental or medical healthcare environment.
Basic dental terminology.
Experience in a virtual working environment.
Financial analysis
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business/Project Management

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 22 - 33 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
