Starting Salary: $35,568
Major Function:
- Support all accounting efforts made at the property level.
- Assist in training staff in proper accounting procedures.
- Review accounting items to spot weak areas in training and to follow up on these with those associates.
Essential Functions:
- Review Internet Daily Reports for any input errors and make necessary corrections.
- Train associates in proper accounting procedures.
- Conduct accounting reviews of each property to help spot weak areas that need more training and to ensure that all accounting policies are being followed.
- Update any accounting policies and procedures as they change.
- Troubleshoot any accounting issues that come up and resolve them.
- Review accounting reports sent in to the Company for any issues that may need further attention/training.
- Troubleshoot any Time Clock issues.
- Initiate or suggest plans to resolve new accounting issues that arise.
- Have a thorough knowledge of accounting systems used at property level as well as at corporate office.
- Promote teamwork and associate morale.
- Repeated bending, stooping, and lifting weights up to 50 lbs. will be required.
- Occasional travel.
- Have excellent verbal/written skills, computer proficiency, and a willingness to work flexible hours.
Secondary Functions:
- Have a thorough knowledge of each property and its associates.
- Ensure that all associates that use the accounting systems are using them correctly.
- Ensure that all internet reports are entered on a daily basis from the Property Management System.
- Implement accounting policies and provide a good learning environment for associates during training.
- Alert properties to any accounting related scams that may come to the companies attention.
- Other duties as assigned.
