About this opportunity

Ericsson Antenna System (EAS) is providing a complete range of high-quality Antenna and Antenna Line Devices and is an integral part of Ericsson Radio Systems.

We are now looking for a committed, motivated and capable Project Quality Manager located in Plano, Texas, USA.

In this role you are responsible for the quality related issues of components, subsystems and Antennas within the product development process and across the whole product lifecycle. As well you are essentially contributing to strategic quality initiatives and improvements.

Our focus is on lean and agile ways of working. We organize in multi-functional development teams where diversity, knowledge sharing and collaboration create true innovation.


What you will do

  • Taking over the role of “Project Quality Manager" in the product development process
  • Supporting strategic quality initiatives incl. reporting on KPIs and improvements
  • Development and documentation of quality decisions and approvals at quality gates
  • Proactive action and root cause analysis in case of deviations in product and process quality, definition of measures in cooperation with the project teams and the production sites
  • Continuous monitoring of quality status and process conformity, risk assessment and policy definition for the assigned product range
  • Global coordination of product-specific Q measures throughout the entire product life cycle
  • Definition of product-specific quality concepts, test specifications, control plans, test specifications
  • Statistical analysis of quality data with BI-tools as well as deriving and monitoring of follow-up actions


You will bring

  • 5+ years of experience in a quality role
  • An engineering degree or a comparable qualification with a technical background in electronics, ideally in the field of RF technology
  • Professional experience in quality management, preferably within development / industrialization
  • Ability to master common quality tools and statistical methods
  • Quality training (e.g. ISO 9001, Quality Manager, 6S Green Belt)
  • SAP knowledge as well as knowledge in quality SW (e.g. Minitab) is desirable
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • High self-motivation and structured way of working
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for teamwork and collaboration
  • Very good English skills
  • Proficiency in either German or Spanish is considered useful but not required
