Job Description:

The Program Manager is responsible for leading the initiation, planning, tracking, execution, and delivery of major strategic multifunctional initiatives and complex multi-faceted projects/programs with defined deliverables following a standard work process. This role is responsible for end-to-end execution of projects/programs through leadership of enterprise cross-functional teams towards the achievement of defined business objectives. These cross-functional team may include different roles within supply chain as well as partnering functions as R&D, Marketing, IT, HR and other.

Primary Responsibilities:

1 (15%) Develop multifunctional project/program charters, including scope, out of scope, interdependencies, benefits, approach, high level risks and key assumptions ensuring key stakeholder alignment.

2 (35%) Develop project/program governance, identify and obtain resources needed (people, money/budget, time), Assemble and lead a cross functional team, with clear objectives for each team member. Create detailed work plans and timelines, adapt strategic goals into executable steps, identify and sequence activities needed to successfully implement the programs. Develop communication plan with escalation triggers to key stakeholders.

3 (40%) Integrate program efforts, continuously assess and refine approaches and plans to deliver objectives, address conflicting and changing priorities (looking at end to end business); serve as the implementation arm of the program sponsor and/or steering committee. Manage risk mitigation and escalation.

4 (10%) Responsible for project/program closure, develop lessons learned, develop template/tools for future implementation of similar project/programs and confirming benefits have or will be met. Manage project financials when applicable to ensure objectives are achieved. Ensure all program information is appropriately documented and managed.

Other Responsibilities:

· Ability to manage complex relationships across the organization.

· Ability to create direction by positively influencing without authority to achieve results that are aligned with the business strategy.

· Effectively utilizes project management tools to initiate, plan, execute, control and close projects and programs.

· Proficient in stakeholder management and communications across the enterprise while managing risk and complexity to deliver the scope, timeline and budget.

· Ability to drive decision making while working issues to resolution or escalating as appropriate.

· Ability to execute with excellence by setting priorities, managing against a timeline and objectives, communicating effectively, and verifying standard compliance.

· Ability to understand intersections and impact of program on other programs, end to end supply chain and overall company.

Minimum requirements:

· Education: bachelor's degree

· 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional projects.

· 5+ years preferred in the supply chain space (Commercialization, Engineering, Quality, Environmental Health and Safety, Procurement, other)

· Understanding of fundamental procurement procedures (direct experience is a plus)

· Nice to have: 5-10+ years in manufacturing operations and integrated facilities management

· Proficiency in communication and influencing skills. Experience and ability to influence Sr Leadership.

· Possess business and financial acumen.

· Experience managing projects with Capital investments.

· Experience with food manufacturing systems and processes, with an understanding of planning and logistics, engineering, quality assurance, and food safety.

· Experience leading multi-functional teams.

· Experience with risk management tools and contingency planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Certifications: Technical mastery in project management, PMP certification preferred.

· 5-10+ years in manufacturing operations and integrated facilities management (preferred), procurement management of vendors (preferred)

· Beyond the Job Description, what additional skills and capabilities are needed for this role?

· Technical mastery in project management. Proficiency in communication and influencing skills. Experience in the food industry (preferred). General understanding of end-to-end supply chain (Make, Plan, Source, Deliver, Return) i.e., planning, logistics, Manfacturing. Experience managing cross-functional teams. ***Ideally if they can find someone in the local, that is the first preference - a hybrid candidate 3 days a week*** but remote can be OK in case no local candidate is available

This is a HIGH VISIBILITY project, so being able to be in the office is pretty important. If not, they are open to bringing on a remote candidate with 25-30% travel to HQ and other facilities as needed/required for the work (Once a month they will be travelling to Client’s location or to one of the 23 plants across the country - the travel will be covered by client

Looking for very strong PM Experience with MRO - at least 10 years managing projects; 3-5 direct experience with MRO, maintenance repair and operations - need to have a manufacturing background to understand how the factories operation work

- they have an initiative with maintenance materials storeroom.

They are going to be looking for strong organizational and strong communication skills, must be thorough and highly detailed; Agility is a key aspect in the right candidate - must be able to react quickly and be able to respond efficiently to things that aren't expected.

They will be a part of the Supply Chain PMO team - team of 7 and they partner with Dan (team of 13 Engineering.)

Enterprise Initiative - drive to improve their cost basis - hence the need to bring on this new PM. If this person is a rockstar, they would consider them on the perm side!

MS Office, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel, MS Project

This person will be managing several projects - will vary in cost and size - spend for total projects estimated at $50M - 23 sites in all - will be some overlap with the enterprise initiatives. There could be 6 facilities that overlap at one time.

We need someone that has a strong capability to work across many different teams. This person will be our point of contact on all projects that are related to a larger program.

They need someone with MRO storeroom and facilities management experience.

Technical mastery in project management. Proficiency in communication and influencing skills. Experience in the manufacturing industry or CPG (preferred). General understanding of end-to-end supply chain (Make, Plan, Source, Deliver, Return) i.e., planning, logistics, Manufacturing. Experience managing cross-functional teams.

MRO experience is required.

Preferably looking for a Hybrid resource in case some local candidate is available otherwise REMOTE would work
