PROJECT MANAGER I
The Project Manager I is responsible to support all project management and related activities within the Enterprise Program Management Office (ePMO). Responsible for assisting in planning and managing all aspects of the lifecycle for assigned projects to ensure successful completion of ePMO deliverables. Coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders the status of the initiatives and to ensure all aspects are aligned with organizational strategies, plans and initiatives. Provide key information to leadership for effective decision-making.
The Impact You'll Make In This Role:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Deploy ePMO tools and methods and provide training to applicable audiences, including divisional PMOs, as needed.
2. Define project scope, objectives, resource needs, schedules, and budgets needed to deliver projects. Develop, document, and implement project changes and communication plans. Lead cross functional teams and drive teams to successfully complete the objectives of the project, including scheduling and leading team meetings.
3. Partner with divisional PMOs to maximize effective application of project management tools and methodologies to drive results for DPC.
4. Lead project management training initiatives, as assigned.
5. Build and maintain scorecards and supporting processes, reflecting project progress and status at project, program and portfolio levels. Effectively communicate key information to stakeholders.
6. Analyze project outcomes and recommend ways to move forward (e.g. best practices, feedback loops, cross-project improvement opportunities).
7. Partner with other DPC resources to ensure complete and successful communication and change management planning on priority initiatives, programs and projects.
8. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Your Experience and Expertise:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience: BS/BA degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or similar discipline with a minimum of three (3) years of applicable business experience, preferably two (2) years in project management. PMP Certification or equivalent preferred or must be obtained.
Skills:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies and tools and resource management practices
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively work with individuals at all levels, both internal and external
  • Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) are required, project management tool expertise (Microsoft Project, Microsoft SharePoint, OPC, D365, etc.) preferred
  • Highly organized and solutions-focused with excellent time management skills
  • Strong technical and business acumen skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the agility and flexibility to deal effectively with ambiguity and change
  • Experience with organizational change management preferred
Physical Demands: Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators, fall protection, etc. Sit, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, lift (up to 50 lbs.), push/pull, crawl, twist upper body, climb hand-over-hand, bend and reach. Operate/manipulate computer, testing equipment, and hand tools.
Environmental Demands: Work indoors and outdoors, frequently in/around extreme heat, noise, confined spaces and mechanical hazards. Occasionally works in extreme cold, at heights, around explosive, electrical, fume/odor, dust, radiation, radioactive contamination and chemical hazards. Work alongside or near heavy construction equipment, high speed rotating machinery, high voltage, high amperage electrical equipment and high pressure/temperature equipment systems and components
