Description:

Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics team to oversee the F-22 aircraft modification and Low Observable (LO) system maintenance through the Contract Field Team (CFT) activities at an F-22 operational base in Honolulu, Hawaii. This position is a primary interface between the Integrated Fighter Group and the Depot Operations & Modification Retrofit leadership and the Operational Unit-level customer.

Responsibilities include:
  • Candidate is responsible for successful completion of depot, organizational level modifications and the maintenance of the Low Observable system on the F-22.

  • Candidate will be fully accountable for all cost, schedule, technical, and personnel work loading activity, providing the highest quality products and services for planning, scheduling and execution of all field team activities.

  • Considered as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and a leader in various aspects of aircraft maintenance whose tasks includes, but are not limited to the following:

  • Modification work control documents and instructions - Ensuring all tooling and equipment is available for modifications.

  • Coordinating all CFT activity to include engineering assists - Providing daily status of aircraft to Depot Operations Leadership - Maintaining CFT cost/schedule, including impacts and corrective action plan development.

  • Must be able to work overtime, when necessary.

  • Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must meet eligibility for F-22 Program access, and Special Access Programs.

  • Must possess at minimum an interim secret security clearance. Must be able to obtain a Final Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:


The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

  • Aircraft production control, maintenance scheduling or quality assurance experience

  • Experience with F-22 aircraft low observables operation and maintenance.

  • System/subsystem operational checkout and troubleshooting experience in an aircraft maintenance and/or modification environment.

Desired Skills:


The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:

  • Knowledgeable and proficient with Portable Maintenance Aid (PMA)
  • LO maintenance technology
  • Modification development
  • Avionics experience

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
