In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better

Lead and direct your team(s) in order to achieve project objectives, meeting time and budget requirements, and to direct all project resources in order to realize the desired goals for the project(s). Determine project risks and to define corrective action(s). Manage the project budget. Supervise, select, coach and evaluate the personnel on the project team

You are responsible for

  • Formulate the program/project plan, in accordance with the goals and timing, set by management; The plan includes resources, costs, risk assessment and quality aspects.

  • Lead execution of the program/project, in line with the plan. This includes creation of the project team, monitoring progress, managing stakeholders and resources. Gives guidance to employees, both technically and organizationally.

  • Controls the program/project budget and progress, evaluates all initiatives as to feasibility, costs/benefits and added value, takes corrective actions when necessary and generates adequate reporting.

  • To keep abreast of business/technical developments in the relevant fields through literature, technical contacts and competition.

  • Reports on team members’ performance to the hierarchical superior of the employee for the purpose of appraisal and makes proposals for training.

  • Ensures Quality both in the project results as well as business processes.

  • Supports continuous improvement of relevant Business Processes.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Bachelor degree

  • Knowledge of project management methods in Philips (e.g. PMBOK) and of estimation techniques risks for the relevant functions / disciplines

  • PMP certified or Minimum Philips Project Management Certification = Practitioner or Expert

  • 5+ years of related experience
