Please note that this is a contract role providing services to the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies through external staffing partners of Kelly OCG. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by a contract staffing supplier and will not be a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multidisciplinary projects that are both regional and global in scope, including but not limited to capital, business, technology, improvement, and transformational projects
  • Identify, champion and lead projects that improve organizational effectiveness, efficiency and the ability to scale
  • Provide leadership & motivation, across the project life cycle, to a cross-functional team that includes internal and external resources (partners, third party contractors or consultants)
  • Develop & execute project plans that specify goals, strategy, staffing, schedule & RACI, identifying assumptions, dependencies, risks & mitigation plans. Maintain project documentation.
  • Manage all projects using standardized project management methodologies, (PMI, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, etc.), tools, techniques, and templates, through all project phases (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & control, closure).
  • Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project delivers business & customer value, for agreed scope, on schedule, within budget, and at a defined quality level.
  • Manage issues, decisions & risks, including escalation to sponsors as needed.
  • Provide periodic reviews with management & key stakeholders to assure proper direction of the assigned projects
  • Keep abreast of developments in project management tools and processes (both internal and external) & JLABS strategies & roadmap.
  • Foster an environment of transformation and continuous improvement, identifying and leading improvement efforts
  • Ensure compliance to corporate policies/rules/procedures


Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, Engineering or Scientific discipline, or related from an accredited institution is required. MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of related business experience in project management or management role is required.
  • Strong Project Management skills & a solid understanding of Project Management methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Full working knowledge of Project Controls in cost and schedule development and financial assessments is required.
  • PMP Certification • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred
  • Prior experience leading managing major capital projects over $10MM is preferred.
  • Willingness to support remote project locations for extended time periods, within or outside US.
  • This position may require up to 35% travel across domestic and global JLABS locations. Senior Project Manager Abilities:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Delivers innovative and complex projects or programs to meet company goals on local, regional, and/or global level.
  • Flexible thinking with ability to adapt & prioritize tasks under changing conditions
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate, plan & lead across multiple BUs & sites & functions in effective & efficient manner, requiring strong organizational, motivational, & interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build & foster strong working relationships on project team and with management, especially in a matrix managed organization and without direct resource control
  • Demonstrated ability to plan & conduct effective meetings.
  • Personal ability, and ability to lead a team through advanced problem solving & analysis with strong attention to detail, coupled with the ability to define & focus the team and activities on critical success factors.
  • Demonstrated commitment to meeting deadlines and expectations while ensuring overall quality of delivery
  • Excellent communications skills: Ability to convey relevant information in a clear & concise manner, tuned to the intended audience, both verbally & in writing. Confidence in preparing & presenting presentations in large or small groups.
