Haley Ward is seeking a Project Coordinator to join the Land Survey department in the Fort Myers, FL office.

What you can expect to be doing:

  • Serves as the initial point of contact with clients for project requests and updates.
  • Interacts with clients to identify project requirements, scope and objectives.
  • Ensures clients’ needs are met as the project evolves.
  • Assists with communication between internal and external project participants.
  • Fulfills requests for information from various outside parties.
  • Completes research of public data and existing files of the firm
  • Supports Project Managers in preparation of proposals and contracts.
  • Sets up project files, both electronic and hard copy.
  • Assists with project related correspondence.
  • Maintains and updates project files.
  • Responsible for project related filing.
  • Tracks project close-out documents.
  • May notarizes documents.
  • May provide support to financial staff.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required, a college degree in Business Administration, or equivalent, is preferred. Current Notary Public status within the state of Florida preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding work performed.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software. Must be able to learn quickly to use the software programs of the office.
  • Must have a sound knowledge and ability in business correspondence to proofread grammar, spelling and punctuation with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to handle multiple interruptions and adjustments to priorities throughout the day. Ability to work within a team setting with multiple contributors on projects. Ability to multi-task projects, people and events to get the job done.
  • Ability to work within the office as a team player, supporting others in their roles and responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of the office and a positive work environment.
