Summary:

The Project Coordinator will have primary responsibility for completing administrative tasks on projects and supporting the team of Project Managers. As a key resource to the Project Managers, this position will assist with ensuring project tasks are complete correctly and on-time and will collaborate with Project Managers, Sales, Sales Administration, Engineering, Accounting and the Operations teams as required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Track project status through the project phases of Engineering, Manufacturing, Shipping, Installing and Project Completion.
  • Ensure Project Tasks are assigned properly, and on track (CSI ERP system).
  • Assist Project Managers with creating Purchase Orders for Buyout items
  • Follow up with Vendors on Purchase Orders, delivery schedules, and verifying proof of product deliveries to jobsites. Receive Buyout PO receipts in CSI (with confirmation from installer/customer).
  • Process Freight PO receipts (in CSI), in coordination with the plant shipping supervisors and with confirmation from installer/customer.
  • Assist Project Managers in creating Customer Care (W) Orders and Change Orders as needed
  • Manage and process Parts-Only orders, and follow through from Order to Shipment
  • Assist the Project Management Program Manager on special projects and other administrative duties

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:

  • Three (3) years of experience in project coordination, customer service or related field. Experience with project management a plus.
  • Working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the material handling industry.
  • Demonstrated use of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Teams

CRITICAL SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

  • Organizational skills applied in a multiple people support role for one to three (3) years
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, product, service, or area of customer service specialization. Work efficiently with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks with tight deadlines
  • Ability to act with integrity and professionalism

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
