About The Role
Gleeds is an independent global Construction consultancy, specializing in Program and Project Management, Project Controls and Strategic Advisory. We have an opening for a Project Controls Analyst to support a utility client in the South Georgia area (Valdosta, Tifton, Albany, Bainbridge, or Waycross)
- Lead and coordinate activities with engineering, customers, and resource allocation for projects.
- Work with Engineers and Supervisors to ensure the continual accuracy of each project and schedule.
- Support the closeout of projects, monitors project progress, schedules, with special attention to customer commitment.
About You
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Project scheduling experience highly preferred.
- Knowledge Engineering Handbook/Specifications and power distribution processes are highly advantageous.
- Experience with design and construction processes
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel and SharePoint
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills across all organization levels
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks under the pressure of deadlines and shifting priorities
- Ability to effectively communicate project details to all project stakeholders
- Ability to take the project lead when required in support of the Project Manager
- Construction, project/resource management, engineering, accounting or operations experience in utilities, gas distribution or related field
- Knowledge and experience with cross bore impingement discovery, remediation, and program administration
- Familiar with permit acquisition process
