Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support security program planning, development, management, and monitoring activities specifically for the Mission Security Section.
  • Assist in and execute budget and project tracking initiatives for Mission Security Section. Continually monitor the budget comparing against the Status of Funds (SOF) information provided by the Resource Management Staff (RMP).
  • Reconcile SOF information with RMP in order to maintain an accurate budget status.
  • Create for approval and process procurement documentation.
  • Serving as the functional point of contact for day-to-day budget/financial issues.
  • Performing budget formulation work involving review and preparation of budget estimates and financial plans.
  • Performing budget execution and administration work involving the monitoring of obligations incurred and the actual expenditures of funds.
  • Using budgetary and other automated system(s) and computer-generated products in accomplishing budgeting/funding assignments.
  • Support program management functions to include analysis, briefing preparation, and follow-up actions.
  • Submit time and expense reports per Company protocols, comply with Company and contract policies and procedures, support other duties as assigned by PM or Company Leadership.

Additional Responsibilities / Skills:

  • Analyze budgeting and accounting reports for the purpose of maintaining expenditure control.
  • Manage accounting records and reconcile all budget accounts.
  • Perform budgetary planning and analysis functions for assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Analyze funds to identify possible trends in spending.
  • Assist in the management and control of inventory, training and personnel records for the Criminal Investigators Program.
  • Assist in maintaining up to date records of DOSM, DDOSM and AO list maintained by TM using CDIS.
  • Provide, prepare, and present monthly reports as requested - Threat Reports
  • Maintain list of meetings and alarm funding renewals
  • Assist with District request for protective measures and review alarm quotes for approval.
  • Assist with inventory.
  • Assist with Shipment of ballistic vest using DOJ Fed Ex account.
  • Process procurement request in UFMS for residential alarms
  • Additional duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Ability to multi-task, pay close attention to detail, stay alert and focused, and coordinate and manage electronic security equipment.
  • Ability to use computer software applications including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases, and email.
  • Possess excellent organizational and file management skills and the ability to plan and execute administrative work with little supervision.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Possess excellent typing abilities and the skill to prepare documents accurately with minimal errors.
  • Ability to professionally interact with customers, colleagues and command members at all levels; and to foster positive business relationships.


Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance
  • 5 years of experience in administrative support functions to include interpreting and adapting guidelines, including unwritten policies and precedents for the maintenance of day-to-day operations.
  • Must be proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and database use.
  • Requires excellent organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills.
