As a Program Supervisor, you will work in a residential group home setting in Westampton, Burlington County, NJ. The group home provides a supervised residence for developmentally disabled adults (co-ed). Support services help residents gain independence and become contributing participants in their community.

Schedule: Full-time; 40 hours; 8:30am-5pm Monday - Friday; on-call responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Supervise, train and develop program staff

Complete annual written evaluation of employees

Maintain records for all consumers, including progress notes, individual treatment plans and all other record keeping as required through agency and funding source

Intervene in crisis situations and report them according to procedure in the DDD circular regarding incident reporting

Ensure that each consumer is in compliance with medical, dental, psychological, psychiatric or pharmaceutical services

Ensure safety against fire, theft, physical/verbal abuse, and report incidents to VP of Developmental Disabilities Services

Participate in the formulation of treatment plans

Maintain working relationships with families, guardians, case managers, social workers, and agencies/institutions to coordinate service delivery to consumers

Manage all personnel actions/performance of all staff and make recommendations to the VP as necessary

Coordinate maintenance of the program according to the Division of Developmental disabilities and Oaks Integrated Care standards

Assist in monitoring program budget and statistics

Be available to consumers and staff on a 24 hour basis during emergencies

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree in social services field;
  • Five(5) years experience working with developmental disabilities;
  • Two (2) of which have been supervisory in nature;
  • Valid Driver's License in good standing required.
