Summary:

Island Creek Associates, a professional services firm focused on government customers, is currently seeking a Senior Program Operations Lead for NAWCAD at Patuxent River, MD.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Process Domestic and International Travel Orders in the Defense Travel System (DTS)
  • Monitor and convey to the team updated COVID policy regarding testing, travel, and restrictions.
  • Create and review program related naval correspondence for distribution internal and external to NAWCAD.
  • Assist security team representatives at collateral Top Secret and Sensitive Compartmented Information levels with access via alternate subcontracts.
  • Maintain configuration management of program documents and equipment.
  • Apply classification markings and assist with classification guidance.
  • Coordinate meetings with executives including the International Joint Program Team.
  • Coordinate virtual meetings via internet tools (MS Teams, DOD DISA, etc) and classified networks.
  • Schedule and deconflict team meetings.
  • Log in deliverables in database from all team participants including other vendors.
  • Scan physical reports for inclusion in local archive.
  • Maintain program calendar and schedule.
  • Maintain program team roster and recall data.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Joint Travel Regulations, DTS orders and DTS voucher processes.
  • Knowledge of the Naval Correspondence Manual

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.


Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. CWS is authorized for this position.


Travel:

No travel is expected for this position.


Required Education:

BS or BA degree in business, management, or other technical discipline

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience in the functional duties/responsibilities; OR no degree and an additional six (6) years of experience in the functional duties/responsibilities.


Required Experience:

Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline.


Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at the Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information Level.


Ideal candidates will currently possess an Active DoD Top Secret OR possess an Active DoD Secret Clearance and be eligible for a Top-Secret clearance; however, candidates with US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance will be considered.


Must be able to receive a Government Common Access Card (CAC), access Government systems, and receive a security clearance.
