EXL Health is hiring a Program Manager. This is a remote opportunity with 25-50% possible travel to client site. The successful candidate must have program management experience in a healthcare setting, must be PMP certified, must have experience working with internal and external stakeholders, must have end-to-end financial experience within program management, and must be experienced with agile methodologies.

As a HealthCare Business Functional Program Manager, you will work with business, application and technical teams to translate a business need into a robust and integrated technology solution. The position provides end-to-end program management services involving complex healthcare business and technical solutions in Healthcare projects. This role is responsible for program ownership and communicating critical objectives to Healthcare Business divisions and clients as well as closely aligning with the internal stakeholders to ensure consistent support across business organization.

Your role will requires you to operate in areas of:
Planning & Strategic Thinking:
  • Your role is strategic in nature, with focus being on long-term, big picture initiatives intended to meet the business goals.
  • You must be able to develop programs that can accomplish some aspect of a business's larger strategy with an enthusiasm for high-level planning and strategic thinking.
Risk Management:
  • Business and Technology Risk Management skills are necessary when driving various business programs.
  • You have the ability to recognize, measure, and mitigate the risks th.at come with different solution approaches.
  • Proactively communicate risks across lifecycle of the Program
  • You must be able to make prudent decisions when it comes to how to best use an organization's time, resources, and personnel to achieve program goals.
Business Goals in Solution Design:
  • You must have a deep understanding of the goals and objectives of the program.
  • You must be prepared to have an intimate understanding of their program’s particular goals, both big and small, to be most effective in their role as a program manager.
  • You must have strong domain expertise in mapping Healthcare business requirements to technology requirements.
  • Direct all aspects of solution implementation and Lead development team in areas of architecture and design
Requirement Gathering:
  • Analyze Project requirements identity, prioritize, advocate, and act as an influencer within the team and Software Development Organizations for specialized projects.
Program Management:
  • Guide and empower program teams to build sustainable staffing and programs to improve accessibility.
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of cross-functional teams to maintain, evolve, and expand guidance for emerging technologies and Healthcare Domain
  • Provide technical consultation and expertise to support business teams in implementing accessibility standards and policies.
  • Manage a wide range of programs simultaneously at varying stages, and create process improvements to increase organizational effectiveness.
  • Ensure quality controls and management reporting. de and modules
  • BRD Creation & seeking requisite sign off
Financial Management:
  • Capex & Opex expense calculation and tracking
  • Planned Vs Actual Budget variation
Agile & DevOps:
  • You would track program Track deliverables, milestones, deadlines
  • Coordinate project logistics, details, and contracts and Establish reporting and communications with stakeholders
  • Establish, maintain, and manage product road map in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Define service capabilities, track their development and implementation along with Identifying service risks and unknowns, and define and drive resolution plans.
  • Manage and maintain project information, including feature definition and scope
  • Facilitate regular stand up meetings project reviews and drive the individual stand ups
Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of service-oriented architectures, build processes, change control management and release models.
  • Knowledge of service inter-dependencies that drive technical solutions for multi-tiered systems
  • Experience in managing large-scale enterprise projects and monitoring of operational metrics
Operational Skills:
  • Problem Solving Skills: Ability to leverage all resources available to solve problems and achieve results.

Education Requirements:

Work Experience Requirements:
  • Healthcare Domain
  • 8+ years of Technology Project Management
  • 4+ years of Technology Portfolio / Program Management
  • Experience in program management of 1-2 large programs from planning to implementation
  • Experience in driving at least one CXO level program or initiative
  • Previous Healthcare project / program implementation management is an advantage
Other Requirements:
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodology, Test-Driven Development and software design patterns
  • Familiarity in DevOps Methodology
