JOB OVERVIEW
Prometric is looking for an energetic, experienced Program Manager who enjoys strategic thinking, cross-team collaboration, and leading solution delivery from conception to production of end-to-end solutions. As a member of the Product & Technology organization, the Program Manager will coordinate solution delivery across Prometric’s Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and external vendors. This role will work closely with Prometric’s business stakeholders, architecture, product management, program management, software development, and operations teams to ensure that product solution requirements are delivered on time, with quality and meet value expectations. The Program Manager is a lean-agile leader and will also be responsible for promoting agile values including promoting systems thinking, supporting the teams’ and trains’ commitments, leading change, and leading by example.

LOCATION: Remote – United States – East Coast

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identifies when business needs require solution management (multiple ART solutions, solutions that require integration with external vendors) and work with product management and business stakeholders to specify the solution definition
  • Builds relationships within and outside of the Product & Technology organization
  • Facilitates solution planning and coordination across the ARTs ensuring work is planned into the ART Program Increments (PIs)
  • Facilitates engagements with external vendors
  • Helps discover external dependencies - understanding high-level dependencies ahead of PI Planning allows the team to avoid disconnects and duplicate efforts. This also establishes necessary interactions with other parties critical to their success in the upcoming PI
  • Facilitates solution scrum of scrums to review solution status, dependencies, and solution risks across the ARTs and external vendors
  • Facilitates solution demonstrations as needed to stakeholders
  • Establishes solution metrics and solution retrospectives to continually improve solution process
  • Establishes E2E testing coordination & release coordination activities
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor degree in related field
EXPERIENCE
  • 7+ years experience managing large technical cross-organizational projects; experience with managing external vendor integration is a plus
  • 5+ years experience in an agile/scrum environment; experience with Scaled Agile Framework is a plus
  • Experience working with remotely located global teams
  • Excellent project/program delivery track record managing IT Solution delivery
SKILLS
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, along with strong technical acumen
  • Excellent written skills and ability to develop solution delivery plans with input from large stakeholder groups
  • Strong ability to organize and track multiple dependencies, with a focus on delivering on time, with quality, and desired value
  • Strong interest in relationship building across the organization
  • Understanding and experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Experience with Aha! or Azure Dev Ops is a plus
  • Ability to develop dashboards and solution metrics to communicate solution progress
