Job Description:

The Security Program Manager is viewed as a portfolio leader (or Security Execution Manager ) within the organization and provides program/project management and delivery of technology and business initiatives while actively ensuring consistency with company strategy and goals. The specific work engagement is across our Cyber organization with strong collaboration across our Infrastructure environments.

Detailed Description:

The individual in this role will be a thought leader and expert in the utilization of delivery methodologies consisting of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid environments and in the creation of full-scale roadmaps for the execution of program and project goals and strategies.

To be successful the candidate must be driven and well-organized. It is essential for the individual to be self-motivated and tenacious, thrive in a collaborative, and fast-paced environment. Management will look to this individual to drive the overall coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of the portfolio to provide thought leadership across the organization. This individual is expected to help lead relationships with the business, cross-impacted IT teams, and 3rd Party Vendors and must possess the ability to push back when required. Will work to provide input into monthly management report deliverables providing status on the segment’s overall portfolio health.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working with teams to strategically drive the overall coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of assigned efforts all in collaboration with the Agile Delivery Leader.
  • Consistently work effectively and successfully with the core program and project leadership roles to ensure success
  • Actively facilitate and participate in the analysis and review of overarching program and work deliverables
  • Ensure portfolio execution leveraging delivery methodologies for Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid environments.
  • Lead and coordinate program and project delivery and status with other bank departments / affiliates and 3rd Party Vendors
  • Maintaining portfolio delivery within approved budget and schedule
  • Ensure consistency of accurate status updates
  • Ensure all risks and issues are documented and escalated appropriately
  • Ensure consistency of full scale plans and schedules
  • Facilitate and work with team members to meet established target dates and completion of activities/deliverables under changing conditions
  • Actively and effectively communicate with program and executive and senior leadership team members
  • Ensure documentation is created, reviewed, and approved by the required individuals
  • Work minimal to no supervision with latitude for independent judgement and problem solving

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Banking or Financial Services
  • Experience managing cyber related technologies
  • Ability to manage multiple high visibility efforts simultaneously
  • Strong experience utilizing a variety portfolio project management tools (experience with Azure ADO, & ServiceNow PPM is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Iterative, Agile/Scrum) and project management processes and standards
  • Strong aptitude in both business and technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to explain project risks and issues, and IT related concepts clearly and concisely to multiple layers of peers and leadership
  • Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple priorities and effectively prioritize them
  • Ability to provide strong program and project leadership during periods of uncertainty, ambiguity, and change
  • Willingness and drive to learn and understand detailed software solutions
  • High level of professionalism and confidence with the ability to build credibility with leadership, team members, and business partners and establish effective working relationships
  • Ability to initiate and facilitate change, whether indicated by corporate needs, market or regulatory requirements
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to utilize MS Office Suite, Visio and MS Project (or related delivery Software) required
  • Must have excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
