The Raytheon Forest CMC Operations Finance team is seeking a Program Cost Control, Principal Specialist (Grade P3) to join our team. This position is responsible for driving the financial cost & schedule activities, as well as monitoring program health. The ideal candidate must be able to prioritize and embrace a challenging, fast paced, deadline driven environment. Professional and effective communication skills are required due to frequent interaction with program and functional leadership. The effective candidate for this role should possess well-rounded technical knowledge of Earned Value, ETC development, and possess complex problem-solving skills. This position will support a remote work arrangement, and the selected candidate must be available to support the central time zone.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing monthly performance measurement through the EVMS

  • Developing ETC for the Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) on a quarterly basis

  • Cost/schedule control and analysis

  • Partnering cross functionally to resolve program issues through complex problem-solving strategies

  • Deep dive data analysis in PRISM and APEX with interpretation of findings

  • Performance of additional ad-hoc analysis

Requirements:

  • Typically candidates will have a Bachelors degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree and 3+ years of applicable experience.

  • Intermediate to Advanced experience in Excel (pivot tables and advanced formulas)

  • Experienced in preparation of financial forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis

  • Well rounded technical knowledge of Earned Value Management(EVM)

  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize required systems and tools and independently create + accurately analyze data

  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Accounting, Operations, Engineering, etc.) in planning, estimating, and variance analysis

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) to support the preparation and presentation of written briefs and summaries to customers, organization and peers

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in working in SAP applications PRISM and Apex

  • EVMS certification

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Experience providing analytical support while under critical deadlines

  • Experience in aerospace/defense industry, or in a manufacturing/production environment and MRP concepts (Routers, Shop orders, BOMs, Shop load, etc)

  • Demonstrated experience showing initiative by seeking ways to expand on existing practices and improve processes and data analysis

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
