Program Coordinator

Accendo Behavioral Health is currently accepting applications for its Supported Living Program Coordinator position. Accendo is dedicated to providing instruction and support services to persons with developmental disabilities who live in their own homes.

The Program Coordinator is a position whose primary job function is implementation of instruction and support services. Primary duties include: coordinating and scheduling client services; staff training and scheduling; maintaining and updating client and employee records; and providing daily onsite supervision of client support services.

This position is an mid level management position that requires an individual to provide assistance and supervision to assigned personnel and to oversee multiple caseloads. It is a position that requires the employee to be able to respond to emergencies and solve problems on a day to day basis and may be required to travel for business related activities or training which may include overnight stays.

The skills and abilities required for this position are:

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize regular work assignments while problem solving and multi-tasking new assignments that arise with a high level of priority;
  • Inspires, teaches, mentors &/or coaches others and positively contributes to high employee morale and work group effectiveness;
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with participants families, medical professionals/therapists, and other outside agencies;
  • Consistently sets high expectations and standards of employee behavior; follows employer rules; and exemplifies the traits defined in the Accendo Mission Statement
  • Exemplifies leadership through cooperative and motivational skills and sustains clear communication with others.

Qualified candidates for the Program Coordinator must also meet the following minimum requirements and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years DD service experience including a minimum of 2 years experience in a management role responsible for service plan development and implementation; or
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a Human Services Field, or an RN licenses to practice in WA State; or
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a non-human services field, AND a minimum of 2 years DD experience in a management role responsible for service plan development and implementation;
  • Command of the English language with the ability to review and edit professional reports and analyze data;
  • Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, web browser, and email applications such as Microsoft Office and Outlook;
  • Experience with data entry, filing, office administration duties, and financial management and reconciliations;
  • Valid WA State driver license with a clean driving record, auto liability insurance, a dependable vehicle and willingness to transport clients and employees in your personal vehicle;
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds unaided, including but not limited to lifting, transferring and repositioning of clients;
  • Must qualify as a signer on client bank accounts;
  • Must be able to pass an agency conducted fingerprint-based background check prior to employment being offered.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
