JOB DESCRIPTION (including requirements and compensation)
The program assistant must be committed to the mission of DenverWorks and sensitive to the
population of disadvantaged job seekers that we serve. Ideal candidates will have excellent
communication skills, good organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and be a team player.
Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook) are required. This is a part-time position of
FRONT DESK
Answer incoming phone calls and inquiries about our programs and services
Greet clients and visitors to CommunityWorks
Case management(half of the case managers workload)
Screen for suitable candidates
interview and enroll participants
Provide follow up
request and distribute supportive services
outreach
CLOTHING CLOSET
Print schedules and referral forms for clothing closet appointments
Work with volunteers to direct client flow back to the closets for appointments
Enter all clothing closet clients into the database
Compile and record quarterly clothing closet and volunteer statistics
Assist clients in the clothing closets as needed
Respond to clothing closet donation e-mails and generate donation schedule
Set up new accounts for agencies referring clients to the clothing closets
CLIENT SUPPORT
Distribute and track client aid
Maintain and set up Community Voice Mail
Register clients for training
GENERAL OFFICE
Maintain, file, and record client logs
Update and maintain a supply of resource lists, Training schedules, and brochures
Input workshop clients into client database
Assist staff as needed with special projects
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour
