Job description

Magbee Contractors Supply is searching for a Production Associate who is reliable and punctual, able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive and can lift up to 50lbs+ on a regular basis. The position will involve assembling door units and preparing product for distribution, and ensuring that our production quotas are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standard of safety and quality. This is a Monday to Friday position and starting pay rate is $17 per hour.

PRODUCTION WORKER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assembling door units and components together

· Work on the door assembly line with consistent speed and accuracy

· Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals

· Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to Management

· Read orders and follow all written and verbal instructions

· Inspects products to ensure they are up to quality standards

· Housekeeping of warehouse and general work area

· Able to work overtime as needed

· Able to build door units of the highest quality standards

· Able to use pneumatic air guns

PRODUCTION WORKER MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

· High school diploma or GED required

· 1+ years’ experience in warehouse setting is preferred

· Physical capability of manual labor that includes lifting, bending and reaching

PRODUCTION WORKER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

· Familiar with safety procedures and guidelines

· Ability to read and comprehend instructions

· Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively

· Ability to to heavy lifting up to 50 pounds or more

· Works efficiently and manages time effectively
