We have multiple Production Technician openings at our Pittston, PA plant. Production Technicians perform various manual or mechanical production functions by operating, adjusting, and repairing production equipment to meet customer specifications. Production Technicians perform tasks and provide services to support the plant’s production goals, overall business plans and objectives, as directed.

Our plant is high-volume, fast-paced 24/7-365 days/year manufacturing environment and crews work 12 ¼ -hour shifts (5:45am-6pm/5:45pm-6am) working 3 days on/3 days off and rotating from day to night shift every 6 weeks.

Essential Responsible Areas:

• Perform duties as required to ensure compliance with the plant’s quality standards.
• Perform various manual or mechanical production functions by operating, adjusting, and repairing production equipment to meet customer specifications.
• Perform troubleshooting on production equipment as required.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment as required.
• Input data on a computer terminal to identify, label, and palletize finished products.
• Unload, receive, inspect, and stage raw materials, scrap, packaging materials, chemical and other supplies.
• May operate can line briquetter, end line baler, and slug accumulator.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience working in an industrial environment.
• Mechanical aptitude demonstrated through a working knowledge in areas such as: machine mechanics, disassembly and rebuilding of machinery or production equipment
• Demonstrated ability to use hand and power tools.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working with bearings, shafts, pulleys, sprockets, belts and conveyors.

  HOURLY RATE: $29.37
