Conagra's Waterloo Facility, also known as "The Pudding Plant", has been around for over 25 years and is looking for people to join our team.

Job Details:

Schedule: 7pm - 7am | Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday - Sunday; Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday

Starting Pay: $24.30 - 26.40 per hour + shift differential + $1,000 sign-on bonus

You will oversee the production processes in the manufacturing of Conagra Brands. This may include working in any production area. The Production Technician I is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the equipment in the assigned production area while following all quality standards. You will report to Team Leads and Line Leads.

Essential Functions:

• Perform product checks to verify quality measures.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain assigned equipment.
• Complete equipment sanitation.
• Follow all safety requirements and guidelines.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly equipment inspections and maintenance tasks.
• Communicate any safety, quality or operational issues to the appropriate resources.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow all 5S requirements.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• One year of experience in a manufacturing facility
• Experience with mechanical concepts

Work Environment Requirements:

• You will work in a manufacturing environment with varying conditions including moderate noise levels.
• You will move within office and manufacturing facilities, write by hand and keyboard, and perform general office functions.
• You will communicate by speech and hearing by phone and in person.
• Visual acuity needed for close detail work and computer use.
• General manufacturing, warehouse and office environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
