General Statement of Responsibilities

Performs general production duties in an Agrati manufacturing system, e.g. – Employee Involvement, Total Quality, Continuous Improvement, continuous improvement, Elimination of Waste, communication, coordination, etc. that meet production and customer requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Operates Snow, Kaufman, Mass and Streicher Tapping Equipment, vision sorting and cell equipment.

Operates measurement and test equipment required to ensure that quality requirements are met.

Records statistical process control data, quality, safety and preventative maintenance information

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Ability to follow and understand written and verbal instructions.

Housekeeping.

Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and written instructions.

Performs other duties as assigned.

May be used for any assignments:

Performing tap changes.

Training other employees.

Troubleshooting on any operations.

Operation of mobile equipment

Minor periodic maintenance and lubrication

Physical Requirements

Able to reach above shoulder, bend and stoop.

Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Able to wear personal protective equipment in areas where applicable and/or dictated by task.

Able to use mobile equipment devices.

Able to stand for entire shift.

Maintains equipment and work area in a neat and orderly manner at all times.

Maximizes equipment run time and material yield.

Accurately completes reports, logs and other documentation.

Understands and follows Company policies and procedures.

Demonstrates proper use and care of hand tools.

Operates and follows all mobile equipment standards

Performs visual, mechanical and process audits as required.

Utilizes statistical methods provided to monitor and control processes/equipment.

Understands how to access electronic information, including work instructions and procedures.

Participates in team environment and completes assignments for various functions including (but not limited to) EHS and continuous improvement.

Education and Experience

High School diploma and mechanical background.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee occasionally required to walk, reach and scoop with hand and arms, push, pull, climb, stoop or kneel.

The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 10-15 pounds (frequently lift up to 50 pounds when running the tapping cell), frequently lift and or move up to 15-20 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
