This position leads an engaged workforce to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective operations of manufacturing, filling, and warehouse departments. This role is accountable for meeting goals related to safety, quality, people, service, and cost.

What you will do:

  • Lead and manage the performance and training of the manufacturing team
  • Support the site safety programs
  • Become well-versed in site equipment and operating procedures to be able to identify and resolve any defects in equipment or products
  • Ensure production and quality of products meet specifications
  • Revise production schedules to meet operating needs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Eighteen (18) years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship now or in the future for employment work visa status
  • One (1) year of work experience in a manufacturing, distribution, operations function, or completion of a Sherwin-Williams Development Program in an operations function

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Formal training, certification and/or experience with continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc.
  • Experience with timekeeping and/or production control systems
