The Opportunity

Responsible for leading, organizing, training, and developing Production employees using metrics in a Continuous Improvement environment for all lines and plant operations. This permanent position will report to the Senior Manager Packaging Operations and will;
Provide support, coaching, and direction to the Manufacturing work team.
Lead the team to achieve or exceed Safety, Quality, Customer Service and Cost metrics.
Foster an environment of problem solving and continuous improvement.
Work in collaboration with Quality Control, Accounting, Marketing and R&D Departments.
Write SOPs and ensure all policies and procedures are consistently followed.
Report production daily.
The Skills you will bring to the team
Ability to facilitate work teams
Ability to manage and develop team members
Able to work or flex in to 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift
Production supervisory experience in a manufacturing plant
Experience managing Continuous Improvement through manufacturing metrics
Knowledge and experience with Food Production Equipment
GMP/HACCP knowledge

Where and how you will work
The opportunity will be based in Aurora, Illinois. This position is for 2nd shift, the shift pattern is as follows . (Shift change over begins 15 minutes prior) 1st: 6a.m. – 2:30p.m. 2nd: 2:00p.m. – 10:30p.m. 3rd: 10:00p.m. – 6:30a.m.
