We are looking for a talented and dedicated Poultry Production Supervisor to join our team! This position is responsible for ensuring that all procedures are followed to achieve the highest level of productivity in the most cost-efficient manner possible while still maintaining the specification of the customer. You will make sure that all reporting requirements are met for the area of supervision and provide an environment for employees to achieve their maximum quality and productivity performance in their respective positions.

As a Poultry Production Supervisor, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Planning and scheduling manpower, materials, product and machines to most effectively and efficiently utilize departmental policies and procedures to maintain standards established for safety, quality and overall company personnel satisfaction.
• Managing employee performance and providing positive and/or corrective feedback, promoting department and company goodwill through proactive employee communication and involvement.
• Investigating, in cooperation with other departments, areas of quality improvement, cost reduction, method improvement, yield control and equipment maintenance and providing suggestions.
• Promoting safety throughout the area where the crew is working.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• At least one year of previous supervisory experience, preferably in the poultry or food industry.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with 20 or more employees, effective communication both orally and in writing, and the ability to make independent decisions.
• Basic computer knowledge and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Must be able to work assigned hours/days - including occasional weekends - as required.
• High School Diploma/GED required; College Degree in related field preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
