Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. the makers of YellaWood® Pressure Treated Pine, has immediate openings for Production Operators at its remanufacturing facility in Abbeville, Alabama. This is a full time position offering competitive pay and full benefit package.

Summary: Assists production in plant, loads and unloads products and/or materials. May operate machinery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Loads/unloads materials
• Stacks/moves lumber
• Assists in assembling fence panels using nail gun
• Attaches product tag labels to merchandise, material, or product with hand held industrial stapler machine
• Reports quality deficiencies, shortages, and/or damaged goods
• Keeps record of inventory and check items for proper identification
• Ensures continued movement of lumber on conveyors

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Previous production experience preferred
• Lumber experience a plus!

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
