We are looking for a Production Coordinator to join our team in the Nashville, TN (Franklin) tro area. Position Summary:
This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the VP, Operations and the Purchasing Department.

Essential Functions:
Core duties or tasks that are fundamental and not marginal to the performance of the job.

Production Coordinator Duties:
  • Enter VPO’s (Variance Purchase Order) into SMART (proprietary software) as directed.
  • Build relationships with the Construction Managers and Trade Partners.
  • Do necessary due diligence prior to issuance of VPO
    • Be able to read plans to determine cause and need for VPO
  • Ask the necessary questions when processing a VPO
    • Communicate with VP, Operations and Area Construction Managers prior to VPO processing as needed
  • Convert invoices into VPO’s within SMART as directed.
  • Research PO’s (Purchase Order) as needed
  • Process schedule delays in system
  • Have a familiarity with the construction schedule and its structure
  • Generate PCR’s (Plan Change Request) with proper documentation to give to Product Development department
  • Enter job-specific vendor reassignments in SMART.
  • Maintain correct Construction Manager in each community in SMART/ Process Construction Manager reassignments
  • Maintain the Holiday table in SMART for schedule
  • Research PO and payment issues to trades partners
  • Daily release of purchase orders per schedule and generate error report
  • Non-scheduled release of purchase orders as needed
  • Tasks as assigned by the VP, Operations
  • Provide selection and purchase order information for Trades and Construction Managers
  • Execute Slot Schedule and Starts with input from VP, Operations
  • Complete Permit Paperwork for municipalities
  • Assist Sales Department with contracts and approvals

Minimum Job Requirements:
Education: High school diploma, 2-4 Year College degree preferred

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of office and computer experience. Experience in homebuilding industry preferred, but not required

Technical/Professional Skills: Office equipment skills

Computer Skills: Microsoft Suites (Office, Excel, etc.) and Internet
